Ukrainian documents and a power of attorney — while you live abroad

We prepare your power of attorney from abroad and obtain duplicate civil-status certificates, a criminal record certificate, registry extracts and duplicates of title documents, and put an apostille on them so that the country where you live accepts them. No travel, fully confidential.

When clients come to us

  • You need a power of attorney so that someone can act for you in Ukraine
  • A birth, marriage or death certificate is lost — you need a duplicate
  • A visa, a job or a residence permit abroad requires a criminal record certificate with an apostille
  • You need an extract from the real estate register, the business register or the land cadastre
  • Title documents for a flat or a house are lost — you need a duplicate
  • The document is ready, but your country of residence requires an apostille

How it works

  1. Analysis

We find out which document you need, for which country, and whether it can be obtained without you.

  2. Power of attorney

If needed, we draft it and give step-by-step instructions: a Ukrainian consulate or a local notary with an apostille.

  3. Obtaining

We file requests and applications and collect the documents from civil registry offices, the police, registers and notaries.

  4. Apostille and delivery

We obtain the apostille, a translation if needed, and hand the documents over to you.

Analytical, comprehensive, confidential

What we analyse before proposing a plan

  • Which document you need and what for: a court, a notary, a bank, authorities abroad
  • Who can obtain it — you in person, a representative under a power of attorney, or a lawyer
  • Whether your country needs an apostille and a translation
  • Timing for each document

Who we bring in and coordinate

  • A notary — for the power of attorney and certified copies
  • A translator
  • A lawyer in your country — if the document is filed there

You deal with one responsible lawyer who also leads the team.

Confidentiality from your first message

  • The very fact that you contacted us, your documents, property and plans are protected by attorney–client privilege (Art. 22 of the Law of Ukraine «On the Bar and Practice of Law»).
  • The law prohibits demanding privileged information from an advocate or questioning them about it (Art. 23 of the same law).
  • 16 years of practice since 2010: client confidentiality is a rule without exceptions.
  • Only your lawyer and the specialists we bring in with your consent know about your case — under a confidentiality obligation.

What you will need

  • Copies of your passport and Ukrainian tax number (RNOKPP)
  • Details of the document you need: what, in whose name, approximate year and place
  • A power of attorney — if the document can only be obtained through a representative

The exact list depends on your situation — we draw it up at the diagnostic consultation.

Questions and answers

How do I sign a power of attorney if I live abroad?
There are two lawful ways: at a Ukrainian consulate or with a local notary plus an apostille (and a translation). We draft the text and give you step-by-step instructions for your country.
Can I get a duplicate birth or marriage certificate without coming to Ukraine?
Yes, through a representative under a power of attorney. We will tell you exactly what is needed at the diagnostic consultation.
Why do I need an apostille?
An apostille certifies a Ukrainian document for the countries party to the 1961 Hague Convention. Without it, documents are often not accepted abroad.
How much does a turnkey power of attorney cost?
€25–50 for the text and the instructions. The notary or consulate fees in your country are paid separately.
