Privacy policy
This policy explains how Gromov & Partners — Law Bureau PRAV («we») processes the personal data of people who contact us through this website, messengers, by phone or by e-mail. This is a translation; if the versions differ, the Ukrainian text prevails.
What data we receive
We receive data when you write to us or call us: your name, a contact for our reply, your country of residence and the description of the situation you chose to share.
The «Need a hand?» window. The site has one form — it appears if you have spent a few minutes on the site. It accepts only a phone number, and only with your consent. Together with the number we see the page it was sent from and the time. The number is passed to a lawyer via Telegram (Telegram processes the message as an intermediary) and kept on our server for 30 days, after which it is deleted. We use it only to contact you.
Why
To reply to your request, carry out a diagnostic consultation, prepare a proposal and provide legal services under a contract.
Cookies and visit statistics
Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager — only with your consent. Until you click «Accept» in the cookie notice, Google services are not loaded and no analytics or advertising cookies are set. If you agree, Google (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) receives data about the visit — pages, referral source, device, approximate location — and sets its cookies so that we can see statistics and advertising performance. You can change your decision at any time via «Cookie settings» at the bottom of the page. Your browser remembers the choice in localStorage (the gp-consent entry).
Your browser also counts the time on the site before showing the «Need a hand?» window (sessionStorage, deleted when you close the tab) and remembers that the window has been shown, so as not to show it for 7 days (localStorage, the gp-cb-until entry). These entries contain no personal data and are not sent to us.
The map with our office address (Google Maps) loads only when you click «Show the map» or if you have already accepted cookies. Once loaded, Google may set its own cookies under its own rules.
We keep our own anonymised visit statistics: which page was opened, where the visitor came from (referring site, UTM tags), device and browser type, browser language and clicks on contact buttons. Nothing is stored on your device. We do not record IP addresses: a hash is computed from the IP and browser data with a salt that changes daily, so visits on different days cannot be linked. If «Do Not Track» is on in your browser, no statistics are collected.
Confidentiality
The information you give our lawyers is protected by attorney–client privilege. Only our lawyers and staff working on your case, and the specialists we bring in with your consent, have access to it — under a confidentiality obligation.
Retention
If no contract is concluded, questionnaires sent through our Telegram bot and other correspondence with us (messengers, e-mail), including attached files, are kept for 30 days from receipt and then deleted.
For our records we keep only anonymised statistics: the topic of the request, the date and whether there are assets — without names, contacts or descriptions.
Your rights
You can find out which of your data we hold, correct it or ask us to delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it. If you are in the EU, you also have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
